Replaced old water heater that was about 16 years old. Installed new heater up to code. Removed shark bite from copper and sweated a new adapter. All was tested and good. Heater is running and heating up.

*Replace whole home shut off *Replace hose Bibb x2 Turned off water to home to replace whole home shut off and 2 hose bibbs. Cut 3/4” copper water line to replace whole home shut off. Meter does not shut down completely so I had to fight incoming water to new fittings to be soldered. Whole home shut off is in place and functional. I also replaced 2 hose bibbs, 1 on the pool deck and the other by boat dock. They are also functioning properly without any leaks. Hose Bibb on pool deck needs to be secured to stucco after stucco is redone.

Nothing is leaking. After further diagnosing the leak appeared to be coming from the faucet not being tightened enough. I attempted to tighten it the best I could. Does not lift up like it was. Most likely water was getting on the counter and leaking underneath the faucet which than gave the impression that the water line was leaking. Also talked about installing two new dishwashers and possibly 2 new faucets. If the quick disconnect piece does start to leak the part would have to be ordered from Koehler.

Ran approximately 50ft of cable before clearing blockage from 3 inch cast iron vent above full bath. Ran total 75 ft to ensure cables were well past bloackage. Tested and found flow is restored to all fixtures in full bath. Upon arrival tested and found issue isolated to full bath. 1/2 bath laundry and kitchen were not being affected or backing up into full bath. Recommend camera and locate to attempt finding clean out access or mark sewer line so we can install clean out access. Due to age and condition or lines hydro jetting or repairs/replacements may be needed in near future. Flow is restored at the moment.

Service to replace the water system for a standard two bathroom home with minimal attic access. Drywall will need cut in certain areas. Matt’s plumbing does not do drywall but we will leave the sections behind for later reinstallation. Service to replace the main water service from the meter to the home. Service to install three new shower valves in the home. Price includes all parts, labor, permitting / inspection fees, 10 year craftsmanship warranty, and a 25 year manufacturer warranty. Service to cable down the kitchen and laundry vent stack to restore flow back to the system. Clients drains are old cast iron and galvanized. Client needs lines cabled to get by for a few more years.

Attempt to clear your kitchen drain line using an electric snake. Found very large accumulation of black sludge grease present in lines. This is debris that has built up over a very long period of time. Preventative maintenance (Hydrojet reverse pull service) is needed to prevent reoccurring stoppages from under ground sewer lateral.

Customer had new water service put in when he had a new softener installed. They couldn’t locate water main. The cut old lines and capped. The irrigation runs off of old water service which causes irrigation to use soft water. Recommend repipe with Uponor pipe for two bath house. Or recommend locating water line for irrigation and tie into new water service.

Service to repipe a two bathroom two story home in pex water materials. Repipe will require drywall to be removed. Matt’s does not replace the sheet rock. Repipe includes all parts, labor, permitting/ inspection fees, etc. Matt’s warranties the water system for 10 years on leaks and the manufacturer warranties the system for 25 years. Matt’s will do the repipe, main water service to the home, and install a customer supplied water heater that is ready on site.

I called Matt’s Plumbing for an estimate on cleaning my main drain. Cameron came out and to my surprise rather than just taking my money to clean my main drain, he let me know it didn’t need cleaning. He suggested Bio-Clean for sinks and toilets for maintenance, and said if I did start experiencing issues, then it might be time to do hydro-jetting. My home is 20+ years old. The cost for the camera service is super reasonable, as is the cost for the hydro-jetting AND they apply the camera cost to the hydro-jetting if you do indeed need hydro-jetting. Rarely do you find a plumber, or vendor in general that is so honest and fair. Oh, and they didn’t charge a service fee for my call either. He spent about 20 minutes or so educating me on keeping my drains clean. Going forward I will only use Matt’s! I’m going to share this with our HOA and other neighbors in my community. I’m also going to let our Tampa Palms Community page on Facebook know about Cameron and Matt’s Plumbing. Thrilled with their service and work ethic. Hoping others will use them. Don’t hesitate to call them!

I googled leak detection Tampa and of course you came up. On the phone it's $99 to find the leak and I was even told yeah they have sonar infrared. But the fact is that $99 you find the leak but you don't tell the customer. Then try and price gauge the repair!! That doesn't seem to be very honest. Tyler the rep was very nice by the way. It stormed and he couldn't do the job thank god!
