I called another plumber and told them my problem and they quoted me a $700 bill instantly. I hung up and called Matt's plumbing at 1:50 they made an appointment; the guy Thomas drove from St. Pete and was at my house at 3:16pm. He was done with the plumbing situation by 3:50 and it was only $350 for a new valve stem $100 and $200 labor. Turns out the reason it kept leaking and no hot water was that they had the wrong valve stem in the pipe for 40 years! LOL! Thanks I am really pleased with Matt's Plumbing and I'm going to use them again.

Jerry was on an emergency job so they sent Trace. He did a great job and was fast, courteous, and efficient and he was able to save us money by making a small repair on the tub spout. So far, Matt's has been excellent to deal with and we have been very pleased with the finished jobs.
