install new ball valve and repair slab leak. Upon arrival, we met client at the garage area where we were quickly presented with a stream of water flowing from the garage and down the driveway and it was originating from behind the water heater on the hot side 1/2" copper manifold. We were able to attach the transfer pump to the water heater drain port and emptied the entire tank with the water meter turned off. Once empty, we cut out the old gate valve, untied the electric and removed the water heater from its set location. After removing the tank, we cut a larger cut-out in the drywall to gain access to the manifold and proceeded to bust up concrete in order to locate the pinhole under the slab. Once we could identify the piping running into the slab, we air tested the hot side to pinpoint exactly which pipe was leaking. Client allowed us to go inside the home to also remove concrete on the opposite side of where the leak was located so that we could make good connections on the cop
