I’m not big on telling people my experiences but I want to spare somebody a bad situation. I had to stop at sync and was told this plumbing under the house needs to be changed and it would be $3000 and then they said will do 2500 and we have a payment plan all that was out of my possibilities so I got hold of a local plumber which I wish I could contact it earlier. He came and put some new PVC pipe under the sink made the sink right underneath and used a 30 foot electric snake and cleaned it all out much much less than $3000, more like under 500 so all I can say is buyer beware I did not need a huge job like that and it really wasn’t that big of a job. All my plumbing is in the same area. It was just two pipes trying to simplify it, but the truth was no that needed to be done

Repaired a leaking shower arm by first turning off the water supply. Removed the existing shower arm, which was corroded and leaking at the threads. Cleaned the threads inside the wall fitting and applied Teflon tape for a secure seal. Installed a new stainless steel shower arm, ensuring it was properly tightened and aligned. Reattached the showerhead and tested for leaks, verifying that the repair was successful and the water flow was restored.

There is a copper loop exposed in front of home near hose Bibb on exterior wall. The pvc trunk line is also exposed, tied into copper piping supplying home. I can make a temporary repair to get water service back onto home, but I highly recommend re piping to ensure water lines are installed correctly and up to current Florida plumbing code.

Cut out existing 1 1/2” pvc drain line and install new 2” pvc drain line servicing kitchen sink. Drain line has extensive grease build up and a hydro jetting is not applicable. Will tie new drain line into existing sewer. *Matt’s plumbing services is not responsible for any damage to vapor barrier in scope of work.

Customer is currently experiencing a mainline blockage. I found a 2 way cleanout near front porch on south side of home. I pulled a piece of skirting out of my way to see condition of sanitary sewer piping underneath the home and found that the pipe is broken and not installed correctly. Sewer piping was installed using “short angle” 90 degree elbows and should be “long sweep” 90 degree elbows Sewage is leaking onto the ground and a repair must be made. We will replace 3” pvc mainline up to 5 ft. and also install a new 2 way cleanout. Repair cannot be made without installing new cleanout, due to new piping, and is in scope of repair. If price exceeds 1400.00 home owner is responsible

We expect an upsell, we don’t expect straight lies. Asked about water heater replacement, mentioned we had seen our exact water heater in a store recently. Rep told us they don’t make water heaters like the one we had. He’d have to relocate the water heater. Or change us to tankless, of course costing thousands. Went to his car and claimed to call and see if anyone sold our water heater, came back and said no, we’d need to make a change. I called Home Depot, they were able to come next day and give us the exact same size water heater, for 1/3 the cost. Tell me how no one carries it, you’ll have to upgrade; relocate or go tankless, but you go on Home Depot’s website and there’s ten different options. I couldn’t call Matts again because I wouldn’t believe what they were telling me. He fixed the problem we originally called him out for but who knows how much we over paid, I’m just glad that issue is resolved though. Rep was very nice, came to the home within hours, seemed super knowledgeable, but we’re not sure why they’d lie when it’s easily fact checked. We were actually considering going tankless knowing it was going to cost a lot so when he mentioned it we werent mad, just that he outright lied that we couldn’t get the same water heater again, when clearly it wasn’t a problem.
